Amid piles of creaking city bikes, UvA student Willem deftly manoeuvres through his garage in Amsterdam-West. Here, together with a good friend, he runs the bicycle shop ReRide Amsterdam. They purchase bicycles from the municipality, refurbish them, and often sell them within the same week. “Students are our favourite customers.”
