What is the opinion panel?
Folia’s opinion panel consists of (international) employees, students, and support staff at the UvA. The editorial team formulates statements on current issues at the UvA, to which participants can respond. The editorial team selects three of the submitted responses for publication on the Folia website.
Who can participate?
Anyone who works or studies at the UvA can participate. We are looking for panel members who can express their opinions clearly and support their arguments well.
How does it work?
Every now and then, you’ll receive a statement from Folia in your inbox. You will have two days to write a response of approximately 150–200 words. The editors reserve the right to edit and/or abridge the submissions. Of course, you are not required to respond to every statement.
