Next Thursday, the University of Amsterdam will switch to a renewed staff website. The six separate sites the university has used until now will be merged into one personalized website for all employees.
The University of Amsterdam will launch a renewed staff website on March 19. The new website will replace the six existing internal sites and bring all information for employees together in one place.
The site will display personalized information depending on the employee’s faculty or department. According to the University of Amsterdam, the new environment should make it easier to find relevant information. The site will therefore include an improved search function, a clearer layout by topic, and a redesigned interface with updated texts. Additional features will be added later, such as a clickable organizational chart that will make it easier to find colleagues.
The transition to the new website will take place on Thursday at the end of the workday. The website will then be immediately accessible for use. However, the University of Amsterdam warns that not all functionalities may be working at that moment. By Friday morning, the website should be fully operational.
A test version of the website is already available via this url, accessible only to employees of the university.
