Petrus Camper (1755): how a physician accidentally became the founder of scientific racism

In the ninth episode of De Illustre Universiteit, physician Petrus Camper conducts a groundbreaking dissection in 1758 at the Anatomical Theatre in the Waag. He incorporates his observations into his anti-racist argument. Despite his plea, his research was cast in a negative light, and Camper was unintentionally regarded as a progenitor of scientific racism.
