Comments under Folia articles now under your own name
The editors of Folia have decided that, from now on, only comments submitted under the name associated with the email address provided will be allowed on the website’s comment section.
The editors of Folia have decided that comments on articles (text, video, podcast) on the website will now only be included in the comment form under the commenter’s first name and surname, or initial and surname. The editors strive for transparency in their reporting; stating the name/initial and surname in the comment form is part of this.
The editors reserve the right to remove generic (first) names such as “Student”, “UvA” or “Employee”. People who wish to respond but do not have the required domain name to do so (domain names belonging to Dutch institutions of higher education and/or science) can send an email to redactie@folia.nl. The editors will then decide whether to publish the comment.
