Video | Students sail their own race at Sail: “Nothing is certain on the IJ”

After ten years, Sail is back! Amsterdam’s IJhaven once again serves as the stage for thousands of ships during this international sailing event, made even more special this year in celebration of the city’s 750th anniversary. Among the impressive tall ships, flat-bottomed vessels, and historic fleets, students from the Orionis sailing club are also taking part, using the event as an opportunity for their own sailing race on the IJ.
