Cafés at UvA see nine hundred euros worth of cups disappear

In recent weeks, at least two hundred mugs have disappeared from two cafés at the UvA, resulting in damages of more than nine hundred euros. It is suspected that customers are taking the cups with them.

Yesterday afternoon, UvA students from De Nieuwe Mensa are handing out free servings of sweet potato curry on Roeterseilandcampus. From 15 January 2025, the student initiative wants to offer affordable, vegan food at the UvA. How feasible is that plan?

UvA and caterer Cirfood extend catering contract

Caterer Cirfood will continue to provide catering services to the UvA in the coming years. This is the outcome of negotiations between the Facility Services department and Cirfood over the past few months. The current contract expires at the end of 2021.
