Snow turns UvA campuses white
Most parts of the Netherlands woke up this morning to a white landscape. Wintry snow showers also turned the UvA campuses and the rest of Amsterdam white. Folia went out to capture the scene in photographs.

A couple bravely defies the snow shower beside the bridge on the Roeterseiland Campus.

The garden of the Oudemanhuispoort was also covered by a thick layer of snow. In the passageway itself, people were able to shelter from the wintry weather.

Despite the weather, many people still made their way to the University Library (UB) to work or study, complete with the usual smoking breaks, of course.
