Video | Thousands of protesters at UvA and HvA demonstration against budget cuts

Thousands of students and staff from UvA and HvA took action today against budget cuts in higher education. The protesters gathered at the Roeterseiland campus, from where a protest march with banners, flags, and signs set off towards Dam Square. “I see the unrest among my younger colleagues who are afraid of losing their jobs.”
