Do you have strong opinions about university life? Do you win all the discussions with your friends? Do you study at the UvA and you like writing? Then we’re looking for you!
Folia is looking for a new international columnist, who will write a monthly column about student life. Should lectures before 9 am be banned? Does your landlord treat you horribly? Is the Dutch directness from fellow students a thorn in your flesh?
Write a try-out column of around 400 words and send it together with a small resume to firstname.lastname@example.org before the 30th of November. We aim to publish the first column in the second week of January.
Note: we’re specifically looking for a student from the international community: English columns from Dutch students will therefore not be taken into account. You’ll receive a fee for every published column.
