After a shortage that lasted several months, producers have finally began stacking shelves at pharmacies again. Folia went to the Amsterdam UMC to ask UvA students how they experienced the scarcity and to talk to professor Noortje Swart about the mechanisms in the global medicine market and how a shortage on the birth control pill has been possible.
