Foundation De Key building 69 studios on Amstel Campus

The complex being built on Amstel Campus’ Eerste Boerhaaverstraat will consist of 69 studios of about 21m2 with students of the HvA receiving priority. ‘We are building for the HvA,’ Daan Jansen, a spokesperson for De Key, says.

Almost six hundred euros
Students will pay 586 euros rent a month meaning they will still be able to apply for housing allowance if they are older than 23. This future of this allowance is, however, unclear as the Dutch liberal political party, the VVD, now with 33 seats in the Dutch Lower House, hopes to abolish it.
